Anti social behaviour incident

Dear Resident

I am asking you all to be aware of the following incident which has taken place on;

 Sunday 26th October 2025 around 20.45.

Location; Shirley Park ( near to residents apartments).

I am dealing with a report from several residents of “ A large group of youths banging on windows shouting abuse at residents” who live within the apartments.

This has caused alarm and distress to some of the older residents.

I am aware that we are approaching “The trick or threat season” however, this is unacceptable behaviour.

Please can I ask all parents to “ have a chat” to your children regarding this type of behaviour.

As a mother myself, I do understand that most young children do not behaviour in this manner, it is the minority. 

We will be conducting extra patrols around the area and encourage anyone who has CCTV of this incident to report it via web chat or 101 quoting;
